Women in Crisis Response considers crisis management and resiliency building as an integral part of creating safe and secure nations. Founded on the guiding principles of the landmark resolution United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security, WiCR wants to make sure that women have a place at every table where decisions are being made. We want to make sure that women are ready and prepared to make these decisions. For this, we want to equip them with all the necessary skills and support that will allow them to break the barriers that hold them back.

 

Women in Crisis Response is a civic non-governmental entity that believes in the power of collaborative networks to amplify the width and depth of services provided to the people in need, and for us, the focus is primarily on women and girls because we know that empowering a woman is a sure way to build a truly resilient community for the highly digital future.
